At Fitness Function, each personal training session is tailored to your individual fitness requirement and personal goals. A variety of different fitness training methods are used to achieve these goals. Sessions can take place in one of our two equipped studios, or outside in the beautiful surrounding countryside – or a mixture of both!
Clients choose to embark on one or more personal training sessions for a number of reasons, including to:
- Lose weight
- Tone up
- Increase strength
- Increase flexibility
- Rebalance posture and muscles
- Work towards a specific goal, such as a 10K run or getting into a wedding dress
We also offer pre- and post-natal exercise on a personal training basis.The Trainers
Fitness Function’s Director, Julie Burfoot-Brown, heads up the personal training team. She has over 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry and is a Fitness Industry Educator and National Presenter. The whole team at Fitness Function are passionate about fitness, health and well-being and work together to deliver the best expertise for our clients. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, precise programming and achieving our client’s goals.Cost
Personal Training sessions are available as single sessions, or as blocks of five, ten or twenty sessions. Each session lasts one hour.

All blocks are valid for six months and are non-refundable.Cancellation Policy
A personal training session must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the start time of the session, otherwise the full charge will be applied. A ‘no show’ will result in full charge.What Our Clients Say
