PERSONAL TRAINING

Although our small group training classes offer a large amount of personal attention due to the restricted number of attendees in each class, many clients decide they would like personalised, one-to-one fitness sessions with one of our trained experts. 

Personal training sessions can:

1.      Ensure you are working out effectively, efficiently and safely. 

Your personal trainer will not only give you exercises that are best suited for you and your goals, but they will also make sure that you are undertaking each exercise correctly.  The wrong technique can result in limited progress or even injury, so it’s important to ensure you’re doing the right thing!

2.      Help you achieve a specific goal. 

By undertaking a personalised programme tailored specifically to your own fitness requirements, you will see results far quicker than if you were to take part in generic exercise sessions.  Your personal trainer will take into account your own situation, time available, health and fitness levels, any injuries or limitations and diet.  Progress will be tracked and amendments made to the programme as appropriate.

3.      Help you stay motivated.

With your personal trainer at your side, you will (hopefully!) feel more focussed on your goals and less like giving up!  There will be no excuses, just an effective (and fun!) session that you will feel accountable for. 

Fitness Function Personal Training

At Fitness Function, each personal training session is tailored to your individual fitness requirement and personal goals.  A variety of different fitness training methods are used to achieve these goals.  Sessions can take place in one of our two equipped studios, or outside in the beautiful surrounding countryside – or a mixture of both!

Clients choose to embark on one or more personal training sessions for a number of reasons, including to:
  • Lose weight
  • Tone up
  • Increase strength
  • Increase flexibility
  • Rebalance posture and muscles
  • Work towards a specific goal, such as a 10K run or getting into a wedding dress
We also offer pre- and post-natal exercise on a personal training basis.

The Trainers

Fitness Function’s Director, Julie Burfoot-Brown, heads up the personal training team.  She has over 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry and is a Fitness Industry Educator and National Presenter.  The whole team at Fitness Function are passionate about fitness, health and well-being and work together to deliver the best expertise for our clients.  We pride ourselves on attention to detail, precise programming and achieving our client’s goals.

Cost

Personal Training sessions are available as single sessions, or as blocks of five, ten or twenty sessions.  Each session lasts one hour.
  • Single session - £45
  • Block of five sessions - £214
  • Block of ten sessions - £405
All blocks are valid for six months and are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

A personal training session must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the start time of the session, otherwise the full charge will be applied.  A ‘no show’ will result in full charge.
